A Matching Challenge Grantby the Harold Alfond Foundation

Innovating Education. Advancing Maine.

Today, Mainers are competing in a faster-paced economy, marketing goods and services in a much smaller world. Those who create, lead, and manage Maine’s public and private enterprises need to be better and more broadly educated.

We are currently raising funds for a $7.5M matching challenge grant from the Harold Alfond Foundation. This is a $15M investment in:

  • World-class faculty
  • A new MaineMBA program
  • Student internships and employer connections
  • Remote learning capabilities to help more students and professionals from across the state of Maine gain access to affordable graduate education.
  • New online degrees and certificate programs
  • Integrated, market-driven programming between law, business, policy and public health.

Upon successful completion of the Phase I campaign by December of this year, we will unlock the historic Phase 2 grant opportunity beginning in 2022. Join us!

“We were inspired by the transformative vision of the Maine Center…a model that’s truly unique, of the highest quality, and that best serves the people of Maine.”
